CEIR introduces direct participation for companies

CEIR adopts code of conduct
Brussels 23rd October 2007- on the occasion of its Board meeting held in Brussels on October 23 2007 CEIR has officially adopted the CEIR code of conduct. This document inspired by the one put in place by the Valves manufacturers of America and Profluid is very practical. It describes in simple terms the way CEIR meetings have to be organized and the subjects which can be discussed during those meetings in order to ensure a full compliance with the European and national competition law.
The CEIR members are from now on obliged to adhere formally to this code of conduct.
This tool will be of considerable help in a time where the European Commission reinforces its fight against anti-competition behaviours while encouraging the stake holders from the industry to organise themselves into European associations. The major companies involved with CEIR especially from the sanitary valves sector have warmly welcomed this initiative which reinforces the value and credibility of the work done within the expert groups of CEIR.

POMSAD ORGANİZES THE 6TH PUMP – VALVE CONGRESS IN ANKARA – TURKEY
Bringing people, who are making research, design, manufacturing, and management on pumps, valves and on the related facilities with these and representatives of other institutions’ which are making contributions to the sector together is the main purpose of the Congress. During the congress, subjects on the fields of activity of the sector will be discussed by the people working for the different fields of the sectors.
We can list some of the subject headings of the congress like this; Pump, Valve Design and Selection – System Efficiency and Energy Saving – Valves, Pipes and Additional Fittings - Pump and Valve Characteristics – Operating and Maintenance – Measuring and Control, Nano Technology – EU Laws and Standards, and other important subject headings interests both sectors.
